Impression of Seaweed

A multi layered process is used in the creation of these artworks.
Giant Kelp seaweed is designed, pressed, dried and then placed into a thick layer
of acrylic paste covering the canvas. In a day or two the paste dries and the kelp is
removed leaving a 'fossil' like impression. The subtle depth of the colors are achieved
by applying multiple layers of acrylic glazes.
